Picture the scene: you are sitting with your boss at the end of a fearsome week. You have been working extra hard, sacrificing your life for the sake of the greater good, and you feel like it’s time to pop the question. If you don’t do it now, while sweating blood and shaking from all the coffee and missed fag breaks and painfully sore bum from being spot-welded to the seat, when will you? So you say, “I’ve been thinking, this might sound like quite a radical idea but maybe I could work from home two days a week? Or maybe not even two. One would be fine. What do you think?” Your boss says, “yeah, right.” Then you look at his face. “Really?” “Oh,” he says, “hang on…were you being serious just then?” If this is you then you need to see this article on Enigin: http://www.enigindigital.com/2010/05/enigin-remote-working/ It’s a guide to turning your life around: to enjoying endless tea, lunch-times spent wallowing in day-time TV, and fag breaks that take on a whole new meaning. And you deserve it, so what’s stopping you from reading? The thing is, to an employer it just looks bad, doesn’t it? It’s like asking permission to bunk off. And that’s the problem: discipline. To work at home you need a lot of it and you need it every day. Do you have what it takes, that’s what you need to find out. That said, if you can turn up on time to work every day then you shouldn’t find it too difficult to get out of bed and walk down to your office in your pyjamas, should you? So don’t give up! Everyone deserves to work from home sometimes!

Yoostar is a movie karaoke game that is to be released in a couple of months. This game is compatible on both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. This game provides players with a one of a kind experience with movie karaoke.

Ever wondered what you would be like in the films, or onstage at your favourite rockstars concerts with pyros going off and their roller banner waving behind you as you sing to the crowd? The game is very interesting as it puts you and your image into famous film scenes and dialogues. The interesting aspect about this game is it uses Kinect or a move’s camera which gives the karaoke effect of being ‘you’ in the movie. It’s like you step into a scene and become a part of the film sequence.

Sony has already procured rights for using many of the scenes of famous and blockbuster movies. They have contracts with most of the big production houses in Hollywood. All of these studios have been very receptive toward this new way to karaoke and they too are interested to see how their scenes can be used for a mind-blowing gaming experience. Movies dating back to the 1940’s have been included in the game.

Although there are so many advantages and interesting things in this games, there is one potential drawback to it. The players cannot replicate scenes with profanity or obscenity from R-rated films! These things are prerecorded using a Yoostar camera with the help of green lighting and background. Gory scenes are also avoided and it comes with a clean rating. The authorities at Sony are precariously building hype for this game by releasing promos, ads and much more.

Well, there were two technology options that the makers had to choose from; Microsoft’s kinect and Sony’s Move set-up. Both of these platforms exhibit the game in an extraordinary manner and they just chose to do it with Sony because it had a handheld controller interface whereas there was no such option with Microsoft. One has to wait and see how this game fares once it is released.

The Samsung Galaxy S phone is a smart phone which is having all the functions and options that is available in a computer. The phone is having an Android OS v2.1 platform. The phone firmware is the latest and the best among all the smart phones. The screen of the Samsung Galaxy S is a capacitive touch screen having a 4 inch 16M-color Super AMOLED of WVGA of a 480 x 800 pixel) resolution, it has a brilliant touch sensitivity as it consists of a Touch Wiz 3.0 UI customization.

The phone is a speedy machine with 1GHz Cortex A8 Hummingbird processor and a 512 MB of <stockticker />RAM. The storage is available up to 16 GB, through a microSD slot. It has a micro USB port for data cable connectivity, even internet can be accessed in a laptop or computer by connecting the phone through a data cable, it has a Quad-band GSM and tri-band 3G, hence high speed internet can be connected. There is an extra camera for video calls. The main camera is a 5 MP Autofocus camera that gives pictures with superb clarity. The pixels of the photos can be adjusted. The video recording is also good. The speaker sound is pleasant to hear, it also has a 3.5 mm audio jack for connecting headset and speakers. So it is also a music phone, you can connect your own favorite brand earphones and enjoy music on the go for hours. The battery charge is also good. So the phone is a must buy for all the young chaps, I may even keep this one myself.

I am not a fan of TV. It bores me, it’s full of shows about the dangers of chemical face peel and the like, it’s two-dimensional and you know what else? After a day spent staring at my computer screen, the absolute last thing I want to do is stare at a much bigger screen…

But recently I found a programme I quite like. Something a little more interesting than the average run-of-the-mill junk we all get addicted to. It’s called Coast and it’s about–well, you can probably guess what it’s about.

Being English I was well aware that we have a coast-line. You can’t really be off of it when you live on an island. But what I wasn’t aware of was the enormous number of wildlife and plant-life species that exist on our fair shores. In these programmes a number of presenters who love the coast even more than I now do – which is really quite a lot I can tell you – run about like excited little kids and film all kinds of things.Great!

So that’s why I like the programme, and there are reasons why you should do. For example, if you have children then they might enjoy it. And, even better, they’ll get a chance to see things which you could never see in a city in a million years! (Well, maybe in a million years, because then our cities will probably be on the coast, but let’s not get all depressing about it shall we?)

In the current climate, people have made cuts to their spending, this goes all the way from big spends like ski holidays, to smaller and more popular cutback’s switching to cheaper brands of groceries. However some people, including myself (I’m not ashamed to admit it) have shied away from buying cheaper products. Despite buying a few Sainsbury’s Basics products as they seem better value, I am sometimes sceptical with a few products, and have regretted buying a few (Basics hot chocolate tastes like sawdust) but this blog has changed everything.

‘Back to Sainsbury’s Basics’ blog is a person’s experience with different Sainsbury’s basics items, tried and tested, often in a recipe. The blog is great as we, the general public can read about the items before buying them and making the same mistake if applicable. It also provides cheap and cheerful recipe ideas, like kedgeree and cottage pie, all with Basics ingredients. At the end of each review is a price per unit, the cost of a trade up premium, and benefits of a trade up, great info for us shoppers.

The ‘Back to Sainsbury’s Basics’ blog also provides awareness about Basics products. The truth is that many people are still fooled by Sainsbury’s basics products, thinking that they are cheap and rubbish, it may be the case for a few items, but certainly not for others. According to the blog the Sainsbury’s Basics Chocolate has a higher cocoa content than the standard Sainsbury’s chocolate bar, and from personal experience, their Basic’s tissues are just like the leading brand. The ‘Back to Sainsbury’s Basics’ is a great blog and if more people saw this blog and considered the benefits of switching some goods, we could all save a little more money in such hard times.

If you own an MP3 player such as an iPod probably you are still seeking some good portable speakers you can go anywhere with. Most manufacturers tend to make speakers that cover a vast range and will include those that are designed and are as big as a boom box to those that are pocket sized. For those of you who want to have a speaker that is small and has a built in MP3 player then the X-Mini Happy speaker should suit your needs well.

This speaker has an all in one design and puts out unbelievable sound quality. It is not small enough to hold in your pocket but it is close to it. It has a twisting feature that allows it to be twisted down when taking it out. You can also twist it so that it extends up to a diameter of 2.2 inches. It has the ability to pop out, which increases its height to almost 2.5 inches. This will reveal the subwoofer. There are a number of controls and ports at the unit’s base and there is also a stereo patch cable at the bottom that can connect to an external audio source that has a 3.5mm headphone jack.

When charging, a LED will glow and when the speakers are on it will glow red. There is also a SD card that has 2GB and an adapter card which means that different media types can be accommodated.

You will find a playback control as the unit has a MP3 player feature. You will not find any type of navigation button or knob so you will have to drag and drop tracks using Mac Finder or Explorer. Tracks however, tend to play in a hap-hazard manner as a different track plays when the unit is started.

The speakers are loud on the X-Mini Happy which is unbelievable when you consider how small it is. What you hear with this speaker is clear sounds but the bass is not as strong as it could be.

I need all of your help, I am aiming to sort out something for my mother as a gift. When I was having a chat with her the other day she said that she would like a new pair of mizuno running shoes . Do any of you know of a reliable (and online) place to get them?
