Review: X-Mini Happy Speaker MP3 player

If you own an MP3 player such as an iPod probably you are still seeking some good portable speakers you can go anywhere with. Most manufacturers tend to make speakers that cover a vast range and will include those that are designed and are as big as a boom box to those that are pocket sized. For those of you who want to have a speaker that is small and has a built in MP3 player then the X-Mini Happy speaker should suit your needs well.

This speaker has an all in one design and puts out unbelievable sound quality. It is not small enough to hold in your pocket but it is close to it. It has a twisting feature that allows it to be twisted down when taking it out. You can also twist it so that it extends up to a diameter of 2.2 inches. It has the ability to pop out, which increases its height to almost 2.5 inches. This will reveal the subwoofer. There are a number of controls and ports at the unit’s base and there is also a stereo patch cable at the bottom that can connect to an external audio source that has a 3.5mm headphone jack.

When charging, a LED will glow and when the speakers are on it will glow red. There is also a SD card that has 2GB and an adapter card which means that different media types can be accommodated.

You will find a playback control as the unit has a MP3 player feature. You will not find any type of navigation button or knob so you will have to drag and drop tracks using Mac Finder or Explorer. Tracks however, tend to play in a hap-hazard manner as a different track plays when the unit is started.

The speakers are loud on the X-Mini Happy which is unbelievable when you consider how small it is. What you hear with this speaker is clear sounds but the bass is not as strong as it could be.

I need all of your help, I am aiming to sort out something for my mother as a gift. When I was having a chat with her the other day she said that she would like a new pair of mizuno running shoes . Do any of you know of a reliable (and online) place to get them?
