I have to write document tell my company, about if they fire me or just demote me. How strange. Though it would be worth posting though.
Suggestions of ways forward
It is becoming clearly apparent that I am unable to cope with the quantity of work that has been give to me. Therefore I think probable the first discussion that need to be made is how my time should be used in future. These are a few suggestion that seem to make sense to me:
• Part company
As much as I hate to fail at a project. We could part company completely, I will aid in the swap over to who ever you choose to replace me.
Advantages:
• A completely new situation
Disadvantages:
• The replacement will probable encounter the same problems that I have.
• Relegate me to systems builder
At present I am involved in many different development project and there are plans for multiple other project in the pipe line that are waiting on system to be built or for my time to be freed up.
As it is a clear I am having trouble keeping up with present workload, a possible solution would be to reduce my level of responsibility. By finding and hiring a different search engine optimiser you would free up my time to concentrate on building systems.
Advantages:
• Speeded up SEO and development
Disadvantages:
• There is a fair overlap between development and SEO it would be fairly awkward to completely separate.
• To swap over to a different SEO would mean we would have a set back with the ranking, whilst the site was changed and a lot of the link building would need to be started again.
• Hire a different systems builder
The other option would be to hire someone or some company to take over the in house development from me, thus freeing up my time to concentrate on the search engine optimisation and building the authoritive links that I have not been spending enough time tracking down.
Advantages:
• Speeded up SEO
Disadvantages:
• Swapping system over from the original developer requires considerable time for them to learn how the original system was built
• Loss of large disposable work force
• Greatly increased development costs
• Possible slower development time
• Divide up dfgdf and dfgdfgd work
Another divide that would make a lot more sense would be to divided up the work between fg / dfg and cgdfdf. Then since the major of projects and work for cosmeceuticals are very much in there beginning phases we could transfer them onto someone else with minimal disturbance.
This would mean you would be a in a situation where you could hire another in house person to take over the cosmeceuticals side of the work and you would have a second person available within the company that could share the work load that would also give you a level of redundancy, in the case that you would like to part company with me.
I would be willing to train and guide someone so that that could take over the project from the point they are and so that you would have some idea of what is to be expected of them.
Advantages:
• My time would be freed to a manageable level where I could do both the SEO and the development of CHC work effectively.
• Cosmeceuticals work would not be limited by my time.
• You would have web person, on hand in the office on a day to day bias rather than the one day a week I do.
• All project and ranking will continue to improve without any set backs.
Disadvantages:
• Some of my time would be require to train up new person
• You would need to pay a extra member of staff
• Depending on the level of experience they would need some time to get up to scratch.
Finally we seem to be progressing with the site.
