How to manually run replication

Step one
Log into the enterprise manger on the box that is set up as the distributor, then find the database which is set up as the publisher. If you open up the folder entitled Publication it will have a drop down box for all the publications available. Click on the appropriate publication, as shown here:
Step two
Click on the Publication the right hand box will display the available subscriptions. All you need to do now is pick the correct subscription and right hand click on it. This will bring up a menu as shown below. On this menu there is the option to start synchronizing this will manually synchronize the databases. Be careful, it will not feedback if it has been successful or not. If you refresh enterprise manager it should have red crosses by the Replication Monitor if something has gone wrong. Otherwise you can look through the logs to see if their has been any problems.
